Well, as most of you already know I am finally pregnant! John and I are so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so excited!!!!!!!!!!! Karli was a little disappointed when we told her there was just one baby though. She was really set on having two. We had our first ultrasound on Thursday and everything seems to be going well so far. The doctor is still a little worried though so I have to go in for another one on the 30th or 31st. John and I are so very grateful for the chance we have been given to have another baby. I can't help but get even more excited whenever I see another baby or walk near the baby department at stores. I hope the next 8 months don't go by too slow. The due date according to my calculations is August 17th. I think that's awesome because I'm sure he or she will come early and could very well share my dad's birthday which is the 13th.

John is still waiting to hear about dental school. It looks like we won't know anything until February. He is done with fall semester and will finish up his undergrad in the spring. He is so happy to be graduating UNLV come May or June. Work is going well for him. He is enjoying having that as his only responsibility for the next month.

Karli is getting bigger and smarter everyday. We are so blessed to have her in our lives! She loves helping me cook and working out with daddy. She is already very excited about the baby. When we are out shopping she will pick baby stuff up off the shelves and tell me we need it for the baby. Karli is quite the little mommy and will be a big help.
Okay, so that's enough of an update. Here are some pictures.

Karli in front of our Christmas tree.

We do live in Vegas right?

Karli had so much fun building her snowman.
Only in Vegas would they call off school after like 6 inches of snow.

My Little Cook

Karli and I decided to have some fun with my old easy-bake oven.

Getting ready to put it in the oven!

The finished products.

She was being such a little goof ball. :)

Halloween

I know these pictures are a couple weeks late but oh well. Karli loved dressing up as Belle and trick or treating with her cousins. She is already planning for next Halloween. So far she is leaning toward Ariel but lots can change between now and then.

My princess.
Neither were in the mood for pictures.
Didn't get to do her hair quite how I wanted but she's still so cute!

Halloween Carnival

On Saturday we took Karli to the Halloween Carnival at Boca Park. She had so much fun.
Karli's first pony ride.

Karli loved flying around in her boat.

Fun on the inflatable slide.

A carnival is never complete without the cotton candy!

Okay, so it's official... I am the worst blogger ever! I am going to try and be better about posting things but no promises. Anyway, things have been kind of crazy around here. I have been watching kids almost every day of the week lately and working in doctor appointments in between. It's really quite exhausting. Hopefully things will die down soon.

Poor Karli is so sick of the doctor's office (even though it's not for her) and not having me to herself. She is such a trooper though. It is so fun to see more and more of her personality come out as she is getting older. She is such a little mom. Karli has spent a ton of time playing with her dolls lately... always feeding them and stuff it is so cute. She's been getting a bit sassy too lately though but it is quite humorous some of the time. She is definitely her mother's daughter. :) I am so very blessed to have such a sweet little girl. She is my miracle.

So far there hasn't been progress in the baby department. I have been getting a ton of testing done before they start me on the FSH shots. I was supposed to start the shots last week but I guess they forgot to order some of the blood work so I have to go back and do more this week. I am so sick of having blood drawn it's ridiculous! John and I are so anxious for the outcome of the whole process. Not sure when that will be though. I am so grateful to everyone for their love and support through all of this. John especially. He is really helping me to stay optimistic through all of this. It's been really tough but I know the Lord is mindful of us and will bless us when the time is right.

John just got an interview with UNLV for dental school! We are both really hoping that he will get accepted there. The soonest we will know isn't until December though. In the mean time he is plenty busy with work and his fall semester at UNLV. He is doing so great I don't know how he does it.

Well, that's enough babbling for now. Here are some updated pictures.

We finally took a family photo!

Poor Karli fell victim to a hanger while shopping at Kohls. Luckily I had a lollipop in my bag to get her to stop screaming. She was fine after that. She loves to show people her green and blue eye.
